Privacy Policy

ngseed (“we”, “us”, or “this site”) is an independent, personal project offering free, browser-based developer tools at ngseed.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, and how it's used.

Every tool on ngseed — the JSON formatter, JWT decoder, hash generator, and every other utility — runs entirely client-side in your browser using JavaScript. Text, files, or values you paste into a tool are processed locally on your device and are never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers. We have no visibility into, and keep no copy of, whatever you format, convert, decode, or generate.

ngseed uses a small number of cookies and browser storage entries for two purposes:

• Site functionality — remembering that you've seen and responded to the cookie consent banner, so it doesn't reappear on every page.
• Advertising — where Google AdSense is enabled on this site, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, unless you decline consent or opt out (see Section 4).

ngseed may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are shown a consent banner and Google-approved partners will not process personal data for ad personalization unless consent is given.

ngseed does not currently run third-party analytics or tracking scripts beyond what is described above. If that changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Like virtually every website, our hosting infrastructure automatically records standard technical information for requests — such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited — for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing outages. These logs are not linked to any tool input and are retained only as long as operationally necessary.

ngseed is a developer tools site not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

You can decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner, clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, and opt out of Google's ad personalization using the link in Section 4. Declining cookies may still allow you to use every tool on this site — cookies here are not required for the tools themselves to function.

This policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in the tools, cookies, or advertising partners used on ngseed. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
